Course Overview

In the business psychology course, you will be trained in the main professional fields for business psychologists - marketing, consulting, personnel.

In the M.Sc. Psychology & Management you combine two exciting disciplines: business administration and psychology. In the basic semester, you will receive a general and broad education in applied psychology in a business context. Building on this, the specialization takes place in the 2nd semester and the semester abroad in the 3rd semester at one of our numerous partner universities.

The course ends with a practice-oriented master's thesis in the 4th semester.

Entry Requirement 

Evidence is required for admission to the course:

  • A successfully completed bachelor's degree comprising at least 180 ECTS points, or
  • An equivalent course of study at a university or technical college or a foreign university of the appropriate rank and
  • The submission of the application documents and
  • Participation in a multi-level entrance test (written and oral) required.

Examination achievements must be proven to the extent of at least 30 ECTS points from a psychological or psychology-related (e.g. business psychology, communication sciences) or economics department. Of these, at least 10 ECTS points must have been earned in quantitative, quantitative-methodological subjects (e.g. empirical social or market research, statistics, business mathematics, decision-making, scientific methods, econometrics). If you have not studied a bachelor's degree in economics or if your quantitative ECTS points are insufficient, you can prepare for management studies with the pre-masters degree from ISM.

Winter semester: until July 15

Fees

6180 Euro per semester (1st – 3rd semester) in Dortmund and Berlin
6480 Euro per semester (1st – 3rd semester) in Frankfurt/Main and Munich monthly payment possible

Enrollment fee (EU- & EWR-students): 600 Euro

Enrollment fee (Non-EU-students): 1500 Euro

Thesis fee (4th semester): 1200 at all campuses
