Course Overview

The course will provide you with all the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the real estate profession. It will prepare you to complete the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to become a Chartered Surveyor.

Most of our teaching staff are professionally qualified as Chartered Surveyors, Planners, Lawyers or Accountants. So you will learn from experts in the field.

You will be paired with a recent graduate from the course who will mentor you. They will support you and help with study and careers advice and professional development.

The course has a very successful level of graduate employment. Our graduates find employment in major international real estate consultancies and local firms. As well as banks, financial institutions, government bodies and corporates.

Entry Requirement 

Academic Requirement:

The course is primarily open to applicants seeking academic conversion, who hold a 2.1 undergraduate honours degree (or international equivalent) in a non-Real Estate subject. Applicants should demonstrate commitment to a career in real estate, preferably with some work experience.

Candidates with 2.2 degrees will be actively considered - evidencing strong final year performance and/or relevant professional experience.

EU & International applicants who have studied a non-RICS Real Estate undergraduate course are welcome to apply, in order to gain accreditation.

English Language Requirements:

If your first language is not English you will require a minimum academic IELTS score of 6.5 overall with 6.0 in all components. OR

An equivalent English language qualification is acceptable to the University.
