Course Overview

ESEI’s Master in Tourism and Hospitality Management is a practical degree accredited by the ​​​Universidad Católica de Murcia (UCAM), ideal for people passionate about consumer relations, innovation, strategy, and hotel management.

Applied Objectives

  • To acquire the management skills, abilities, and techniques necessary to develop successfully in an international environment
  • To work with case studies in order to learn about the professional standards in the sector and to improve related aptitudes.
  • To acquire skills and learn proper practices related to teamwork, international vision, interdisciplinary practice, and problem-solving.
  • To become a member of a network of classmates, tutors, faculty members, experts in tourism and hotel management, which will allow the development of the contacts necessary to enter and succeed in the sector

Entry Requirement 

Degree Requirements:

If you are enrolled in a programme accredited by UCAM, you will need to fulfill the following requirements to obtain the UCAM degree certificate at the end of your studies.

There are two access routes that UCAM provides for ESEI students through which they can receive a UCAM Master diploma:
1) Academic Pathway: The official bachelor diploma must be presented. All diplomas obtained outside the European Union must go through the validation process done by Ho students (Homologation Student Services).

2) Professional Pathway: Accredited professional experience of at least 5 years in the relevant sector must be demonstrated. The documents that must be presented are:

  • Employment history document (for example the Vida Laboral in Spain), except if your work experience was in a country where this document does not exist.
  • A signed company certificate that includes the start and end dates and the functions performed.

Obtaining the UCAM degree is optional and is only awarded to students who meet the criteria specified above. The UCAM degree is an additional degree awarded in addition to the ESEI degree which is automatically obtained after completing the full programme requirements.

Admission Requirements:

  • Copy of Bachelor Degree and academic transcripts for Bachelor graduates
    • Current academic transcripts and/or provisional graduation certificate for students currently in the final year of Bachelor degree (to be considered for a conditional acceptance)
    • Mature Applicants only – Detailed job description for at least five years
  • Proof of English Proficiency
  • Statement of Purpose
  • CV in English
  • One Reference Letter
  • Copy of ID/Passport

Mature Applicants – ESEI accepts mature students who are able to demonstrate over five years of relevant work experience related to the qualification. You will be required to present your CV in English and a detailed job description during this period.

English Language Requirements:
You must be fluent in English to fully benefit from our programmes and internship opportunities.

If English is not your native language, we accept internationally recognized certificates such as IELTS (minimum requirement: 6.0) and TOEFL iBT (minimum requirement 78) as proof of your English proficiency.

If your previous education was conducted in English (at least 3 years), you will need to provide a certificate of studies in English to show your English proficiency.
