Course Overview

This course will provide you with advanced training in research methods in neuroscience, equipping you with the research and professional skills required for a research career.

The Department of Neuroscience, Psychology and Behaviour has particular research strengths in:

  • Cellular and molecular neurobiology
  • Cognitive and behavioral sciences
  • Perception and sensory processing
  • Health and psychological wellbeing

You will be encouraged to undertake a research project in one of these areas.

Entry Requirement 

English Language Requirements:

IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If your first language is not English, you may need to provide evidence of your English language ability. If you do not yet meet our requirements, our English Language Teaching Unit (ELTU) offers a range of courses to help you to improve your English to the necessary standard.

Second class honors degree in psychology, biological science, or a related discipline.
