Course Overview

  • The accredited BEng(Hons) ‘Top-Up’ will meet the further learning requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng)
  • Develop multi-disciplinary skills to undertake a management role in the engineering industry and combine your technical expertise with business skills to deal with complex technical and management issues

Employers are looking for students who can not only demonstrate a strong technical understanding of engineering, but also an understanding of operations and supply chain management, continuous improvement, project management and sustainable development in both the manufacturing and the service sectors. The programme seeks to strike an equitable balance between underpinning academic concepts, practical work, techniques and principles necessary for a successful career in engineering management. This course will focus on a wide range of subjects enabling engineering management graduates to enter a broad range of careers in many sectors.
