Course Overview

The course is structured based on two blocks in each year, with immersive learning events happening at the beginning and end of each block of study at each level, recognising the University of South Wales’s belief that the development of an active approach to immersive learning achieves two key objectives.

Firstly, it gives the learner the opportunity to interact with fellow learners in teams; building identity and belonging.  Secondly, it allows the ability to develop active learning strategies in a structured and supported environment. Academic and professional development is also supported throughout the course via the Centre for Academic Success.

Teaching

The course is taught by a team of renowned experts, who bring the latest developments and research direct to the classroom. You’ll also have regular input from reputable businesses who set student projects, so you can apply the supply chain theories you’ve learned in the classroom to solve actual real-life organisational problems.

Your studies will be underpinned by the latest research undertaken by the University’s Supply Chain, Operations and Procurement Excellence (SCOPE) research group. Many of our teaching staff are actively involved with our commercial and research centres and work closely with industry conducting research and consultancy. For you, this means you will be taught by academics who are at the forefront of their specialist field.
