Course Overview

Designed in partnership with employers, it gives you a solid theoretical and practical understanding of travel and tourism management, enabling you to progress to higher-level studies or directly into the industry. You can apply what you learn to your own work experience. This course is an award of Teesside University delivered in partnership with Hartlepool College of Further Education.

You build on your knowledge of the areas studied in the course overall. You carry out a detailed research project and present the results in your summative assessment. You identify and justify the choice of your individual current issues project in which you carry out planned and detailed research over a set period of time. You access regular tutorial sessions throughout the year with a project supervisor and show progress through research findings and planned and actual results.
