Course Overview

The Metropolitan College offers the only program in Greece full 5-year study in collaboration with a University abroad, as well as the respective degrees of engineers of the Greek and European Polytechnic Schools. The BEng (Hons) / MEng Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing program was designed to meet the required specifications as defined by the British Chamber of Engineers in the UK Professional Skills (UK-SPEC) standard.

During their studies, students will study advanced subjects in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Production. A series of assessment methods (written examinations, course attendance and laboratory sessions based on the elaboration of practical work) encourages deeper understanding and allows the development of the necessary skills for the successful practice of the profession. The program gives students the opportunity to expand their knowledge in the field of electrical engineering and in the design and implementation of high-precision machining, as well as access to the proprietary laboratory equipment of endurance and materials technology and CAD / CAM of the Metropolitan College.

Graduates of the program can work in various industries and projects such as:

  • Design, Analysis, and Repair of Aircraft and Motor Vehicles
  • Design of small and large scale metal structures
  • Implementation of Special Materials Modeling and Analysis Software
  • Industrial Quality Inspectors
  • Accident Investigators / Investigators
  • Alternative energy sources          

Entry Requirement 

Academic Requirements:

The English language requirements for undergraduate (Bachelor) programmes is a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or 6, or equivalent, depending on the programme and year or level of entry. The specific requirements for your chosen programme of study, including individual component scores, are outlined on the programme page.

Admission Requirements:

The program is aimed at graduates of secondary education, who wish to develop professionally in the field of Finance.

  • High school diploma
  • Letters of Recommendation from Lyceum teachers
  • ID Card
  • Identity photos
  • Degree/certificate of English language proficiency (only where required)
  • Other qualifications (if any)
  • Application for Registration of the Metropolitan College
  • The evaluation of the above-supporting documents is completed by the personal interview selection of the candidates.
