Course Overview

Emphasize will be given on components and systems to serve the mechanical, manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, solar and also oil and gas industry. The graduates are expected to possess the necessary technical competencies and generic professional skills such as leadership, teamwork, communication, ethical, continuous improvement, lifelong learning, business, and technopreneurship in order to be knowledgeable, competent, and innovative Mechanical engineers.
Graduates will be able to work in vast engineering and mechanical sector such as Mechanical engineers research, design, develops, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices. Engineers in this discipline work on power-producing machines such as electric generators, internal combustion engines and steam and gas turbines. They also work on power-using machines. Some mechanical engineers design tools that other engineers need for their work. In addition, mechanical engineers work in manufacturing or agriculture production, maintenance, or technical sales.

Entry Requirement 

The student must complete 12 years of schooling and obtain a general pass in their High School Certificate, A-levels or equivalent with min Grade C (60%) in Mathematics and one of the Science subjects (such as Physics, Chemistry or Biology – depending on the programme)
IELTS 5.0 or it is equivalent
