Course Overview

You will study a number of common modules, as well as undertaking optional learning from within a set subject area or areas. Possible areas of specialism include Media Production, VFX, Games, Animation, Visual Journalism or Film by means of a targeted Independent Study to develop a deeper skills base through self-directed learning.

You will build on your previous experience of studying screen media to develop your practical and theoretical skills in your chosen area, learning to understand more about the creative industries, which will strengthen your employability following graduation.

You will learn how the British screen industries work, by visiting production companies, as well as meeting and hearing from the most creative and inspiring producers, designers and creatives in a number of guest lectures.

Students complete their studies by producing a final project, which will be pitched to industry professionals before going forward to production.

Applicants will need to have achieved an overall IELTS grade of 6.0 with a minimum score of 5.5 in each component.
