Course Overview

The program is a dynamic combination of courses, based on music creation - using computers -, music production in the studio and sound and music design while teaching all contemporary music (from experimental rock to electronic dance music). The teaching team of the program is staffed by professional musicians, composers, producers, and performers, with many years of experience in academic teaching, who contribute significantly to the connection of the program with the music industry.

Students create their personal portfolio that includes their work (projects), which compose the creation of the final Music Project that will lead them, as a dissertation, to graduation. The portfolio of jobs is of a high standard of professional standards and is the most important means of promoting the graduate in the labor market, increasing his vocational rehabilitation opportunities. In the 3rd year of study, the program includes internships in professional areas, where students apply the knowledge acquired from previous years of study.

Career prospects

  • They work in television, film, radio, and online productions as music producers, DJs, assistant sound engineers, and sound engineers, as well as in music, dance and theater performances, etc.
  • Create their own music productions.
  • Employ in the audiovisual industry in specialties that constitute the groups, music production, sound recording, and sound processing.
  • To continue their studies in postgraduate university programs in Greece and abroad.

Entry Requirement 

Academic Requirements:

The English language requirements for undergraduate (Bachelor) programmes is a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or 6, or equivalent, depending on the programme and year or level of entry. Admission Requirements:

The program is aimed at graduates of secondary education, who wish to develop professionally in the field of Finance.

  • Degree/certificate of English language proficiency (only where required)
  • Other qualifications (if any)
  • Application for Registration of the Metropolitan College
  • The evaluation of the above-supporting documents is completed by the personal interview selection of the candidates.
