Entry Requirement 

Academic Requirements:

For joint degrees please also look at the entry requirements for the other chosen subject. A typical offer is based on a minimum of 112 tariff points from a Level 3 qualification* e.g.:•

  • A-Levels (including grade B in Welsh)
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma (including grade H6 in Welsh)
  • BTEC National/Extended Diploma and Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma: DMM**
  • City & Guilds Advanced Technical/ Extended Diploma: considered on a case by case basis**
  • Access course with Welsh element
  • Welsh Baccalaureate is accepted.

International Candidates: school-leaving qualifications and college diplomas are accepted from countries worldwide (subject to minimum English Language requirements).

IELTS (SELT or Non-SELT) or IELTS Indicator(tests taken from 1st July onwards)

Bangor University recognises the TOEFL iBT (TOEFL iBT taken at test centers and TOEFL iBT ‘at home’) test scores. The level required will vary according to the course and level of study that you are applying for:

Fees

The cost of a full-time undergraduate course is £9000 per year.

The fee for all placement international and sandwich years is £1350
