Course Overview

This course will give you up-to-date knowledge and skills in digital journalism and publishing with an emphasis on writing and publishing. You can choose either journalism, book publishing, or both. 

You’ll learn practical skills in:

  • Editorial
  • Design
  • Video
  • Marketing.

Aspiring journalists can take advantage of live reportage opportunities to enhance their writing portfolios.

You will be taught by staff who have worked in the media and continue their connections through research and consultancy.

Entry Requirement 

Academic Requirement:

6.0 overall with 6.0 in reading and writing, 5.5 in listening and speaking

English Language Requirements:

If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

The entry requirement for your course will be expressed as an IELTS level and refers to the IELTS Academic version of this test. We are now also accepting the IELTS Indicator test.

Entry levels are from IELTS 4.5 overall with 4.0 in all skills.
