Course Overview

The BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy degree program is the only university study program, in collaboration with a British University, offered in Greece in this specialty of the Health sector. Occupational therapy is a health profession structured to help with the therapeutic use of adapted activities for people of all ages with physical, developmental, emotional, mental, and social deficits to regain skills necessary for functional independence, health, and well-being. The science of Occupational Therapy draws its theoretical and research background from the field of medicine, psychology, neurology, pathology, sociology, anthropology, and many other sciences.

The BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy program offers the necessary qualifications to those who want to develop professionally in the field of Occupational Therapy. Graduates of the program can:     

  • They work in the private and public sector, either as members of a rehabilitation team or as executives of hospitals, rehabilitation centers or institutions for the chronically ill, nursing homes and KAPI, community mental health centers, special schools, detoxification centers, prisons, and prisons. to offer their services to people whose lives have been disrupted by physical injury, developmental problems, old age, social and emotional problems.
  • Act as freelancers, establishing their own Occupational Therapy Center.
  • To continue their studies in postgraduate university programs in Greece and abroad, for further specialization.  

Entry Requirement 

Academic Requirements:

The English language requirements for undergraduate (Bachelor) programmes is a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or 6, or equivalent, depending on the programme and year or level of entry. Admission Requirements:

The program is aimed at graduates of secondary education, who wish to develop professionally in the field of Finance.

  • ID Card
  • Identity photos
  • Degree/certificate of English language proficiency (only where required)
  • Other qualifications (if any)
  • Application for Registration of the Metropolitan College
  • The evaluation of the above-supporting documents is completed by the personal interview selection of the candidates.
