Course Overview

Our undergraduate program offers both BA and BS degrees in physics, and also has a teaching of physics program that leads to both certification and a Masters of Education that is obtained in partnership with the College of Education for those who may be interested in an exciting, rewarding, and challenging career in teaching high school physics. Many of our physics majors go directly into the job market while others pursue more advanced degrees at the MS or PhD level.

The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Physics degree program is designed to provide students with a wide variety of career choices, while the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics is designed to provide students with a comprehensive foundation of physics and to prepare students for graduate study in physics or a related field.
