Course Overview

Globalization is making our society more and more mobile, different worlds of thought and values ​​collide and processes are becoming more complex. Psychologists deal with the experience and behavior of people in their different living conditions and can use their specialist knowledge to explain and predict complex issues and improve processes with their clients. During their psychology studies, our students acquire knowledge and skills that prepare them for their dream jobs. This includes activities such as:

  • Counseling for mentally and physically ill people (e.g. in outpatient care facilities)
  • Diagnostics as part of expert work (e.g. in court)
  • Therapeutic work with mentally and physically ill people in (rehabilitation) clinics (e.g. as a pain therapist)
  • Prevention and intervention measures (e.g. at the health insurance companies)
  • Recruiting, personnel selection, and personnel development (e.g. in medium-sized or larger companies)
  • Company health management and stress prevention
  • Work with children and young people (e.g. at school or leisure)
  • Research activities (e.g. at non-university research institutions)
  • Activities in market research and advertising
  • Activities in health and consulting
  • Activities in shaping sustainable consumer behavior
  • Activities in environmental protection initiatives
  • Environmental policy tasks

In addition, you can actively shape your studies and your career path through individually selectable specializations and an interdisciplinary selection of subjects. The focus of our teaching is your individual support in small learning groups and a friendly, family atmosphere. A large number of practical projects with top partners and a coached practical semester complete the range of courses and prepare you perfectly for the job market of tomorrow.

Entry Requirement 

To be able to study at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE), you have to fulfill the following requirements:

  • You need to be eligible for studying at an institute of higher education and successfully pass the interview.
  • Proof of sufficient knowledge of English (IELTS — overall band score from 5.5). This is not needed for English native speakers!

  • Important: Matriculation is only possible once all the necessary documents have been turned in, such as references, certified copies, and proof of health insurance.
  • The same requirements apply to international students
  • Credits: 180 ECTS

Fees

EU applicants: 9900 € yearly
Non-EU applicants: 12300 € yearly
