Course Overview

The BSc (Hons) Midwifery program aims to promote quality and documented obstetric, gynecological, and neonatal care, which focuses on the modern woman and her needs, and the empowerment of the Greek Midwife, so that she can bring about change and upgrade in professional culture. 

Midwifery is an evolving profession whose continuous development requires a wealth of scientific knowledge and clinical skills. It also requires continuous progress in research with the contribution of other disciplines (medicine, psychology, biomedical sciences, etc.). The changing demands of the profession resulting from the changing roles and views of the modern woman, new approaches to healthcare, and advances in technology, require the provision of high-quality education for midwives. Therefore, a complete undergraduate program in Obstetrics should focus on women and their empowerment in decision making.

Entry Requirement 

Academic Requirements:

The English language requirements for undergraduate (Bachelor) programmes is a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or 6, or equivalent, depending on the programme and year or level of entry. Admission Requirements:

The program is aimed at graduates of secondary education, who wish to develop professionally in the field of Finance.

  • Letters of Recommendation from Lyceum teachers
  • ID Card
  • Identity photos
  • Degree/certificate of English language proficiency (only where required)
  • Other qualifications (if any)
  • Application for Registration of the Metropolitan College
  • The evaluation of the above-supporting documents is completed by the personal interview selection of the candidates.
