Course Overview

Chemistry is exciting and diverse science, and if you are passionate about making a difference, then this is the course for you.

NTU chemistry courses are recognized by the Royal Society of Chemistry. This accreditation is our assurance that our courses are relevant to, and valued by industry. You will regularly be working in a professional laboratory, using the most advanced techniques so that when you graduate you will already have many of the skills employers are looking for.

The course gives you real flexibility too. You can opt to spend one year working in the industry, getting valuable work experience that can help you get a job when you graduate. You can also choose to follow a specialist route, depending on your own personal passions.

Entry Requirement 

Academic Requirements:

  • A-levels – BBB including Chemistry; or
  • BTEC Extended Diploma – DDM, including relevant Chemistry modules; or
  • 120 UCAS Tariff points from three A-levels or equivalent qualifications, including an A-level grade B equivalent in Chemistry; and
  • GCSE – English, Maths, and Science grade C / 4

English Language Requirements:

If English is not your first language you need to show us that your language skills are strong enough for intensive academic study.   We usually ask for an IELTS test and we accept some alternative English language tests.
