Course Overview

We've designed this course in collaboration with leaders in the sector. And ensured it's in line with current and future healthcare and public health agendas.

 What you will study?

  • How the human body responds to sport, exercise, nutrition, and public health interventions.
  • How to use these interventions to maximize health across the lifespan.

Our staffs are active researchers and clinicians within the field. Their expertise informs their teaching and keeps you up to date with the latest developments in the area.

You will have many work experience opportunities with local healthcare and community organizations.

On graduating you will have the knowledge and practical skills to develop and deliver:

  • Exercise and activity interventions
  • Health promotion initiatives.

As well as your degree you will gain qualifications in exercise referral and specialist rehabilitation.

Entry Requirement 

Academic Requirement:

6.5 or 7.0 overall with 6.5 or 7.0 in all components

English Language Requirements:

If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

The entry requirement for your course will be expressed as an IELTS level and refers to the IELTS Academic version of this test. We are now also accepting the IELTS Indicator test.

Entry levels are from IELTS 4.5 overall with 4.0 in all skills.

Fees

(UK) Full-time tuition fee: £9250

(UK) Part-time tuition fee: £1155 per single module

International / EU full time tuition fee: £15200

Please note tuition fees for Home students may increase in subsequent years both for new and continuing students in line with an inflationary amount determined by government. Tuition fees for International students may increase in subsequent years both for new and continuing students.

Oxford Brookes University intends to maintain its fees for new and returning Home students at the maximum permitted level.
