Course Overview

On this course, established and new leaders will have the opportunity to enhance their leadership skills and practice, developing and communicating a vision to engage with multiple stakeholders.

The programme is intended for experienced, qualified health care professionals who may work in and across a range of health care settings and in a variety of clinical, managerial and leadership roles.

We aim to:

  • Develop leadership knowledge and skills which can be applied to the delivery of quality, evidence-based service linked to the service user, staff and organisational outcomes
  • Develop transformational leaders capable of improving and innovating health and social care delivery in a range of settings
  • Develop a critical awareness of self in the leadership of service delivery and innovation
  • Enhance critical awareness and reflection on the interfaces between policy, research, commissioning, service and practice
  • Enable you to contribute to the advancement of your practice and the service you deliver by your professional development and life-long approach to learning.

Entry Requirement 

Successful applicants will normally hold a health-related professional qualification; and

A Bachelor's degree equivalent to Second Class Honours Lower Division: or equivalent experience.
