Course Overview

This part time MSc Executive Coaching and Development has been created for those who wish to commence their careers in professional coaching and mentoring. Equally it has been developed to provide an opportunity for established coaches and Human Resource / Organisational Development professionals to enhance their knowledge and practice.

The ethos of this course is to provide the knowledge and skills you need in a flexible approach. Via the study of core contemporary and seminal research you will examine theories of coaching and mentoring, underpinning psychological approaches along with coaching cultures and behavioural insights.

Teaching

The course will be delivered via block part time delivery. Each year the first modules will take place 2 days a month (September & October) The subsequent modules will take place one day per month.
 
Each module will have 4 days of taught input.
 
Guest lectures will be a key feature of this programme.
 
This course is closely linked to the Wales Coaching Centre and this affords great opportunities to engage with the Coaching network.

Entry Requirement 

A minimum 2:2 Honours degree in a relevant subject such as, Business Studies, Human Resource Management, Psychology, Humanities, Counselling, Youth Work or Social Work.

Other degree subjects may be considered on an individual basis.

OR

We can also consider applicants who have relevant work experience and a ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Mentoring & coaching experience or the ILM Level 7 Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring & coaching experience.
