Course Overview

Whether you're an education professional or someone with an interest in the field, this MA Education Studies degree course will give you the skills to critically reflect on contemporary national and global educational issues – from the changing purpose of education and educational psychology to the ways in which policy and practice influence the lives of students. 

You'll focus on all levels of education, including schools, colleges, universities and continuing professional development.

Qualifications

  • A good honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject. Exceptionally, equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications will be considered.

English Language Requirements

  • English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 with no component score below 6.0.

If you don't meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme before you start your course.

Fees

Full-Time Tuition Fees

  • UK/Channel Islands and Isle of Man students – £7950
  • EU students – £7950 a year (including Transition Scholarship)
  • International students – £15500

Part-Time Tuition Fees

  • UK/Channel Islands and Isle of Man students – £3980 per year
  • EU students – £3980 a year (including Transition Scholarship)
  • International students – £7750 per year
