The research methods module comprises of 7 topic areas which are taught through a series of pre-recorded mini-lectures which are accompanied by guided further reading, videos and podcasts as well as a short quiz at the end of each topic area to allow students to test their knowledge.

Teaching and learning are supported by eight synchronous sessions. These are typically delivered at 10 am (local time) on a Saturday morning and last about an hour. Here, the topics are explored in greater depth and the students are given the opportunity to explore the topics with the module tutor and the wider group as well as ask questions about the assignments.

The management project is an independent piece of research that focuses on a contemporary management issue. The management project is divided into six chapters. A key element of the management project is the students’ ability to plan and manage the project within the time allocated.
