Course Overview

The technical focus of this degree is the study of a coherent selection of electrical and electronic engineering subjects to an advanced level. Module combinations include communications and signal processing through control engineering to electrical machines and drives. This course is ideal for any engineer who wishes to specialize in electrical disciplines in combination with a rigorous introduction to those management theories, models, frameworks, and techniques that are likely to be important to a professional engineer.

The combination of advanced technical engineering skills and knowledge of management theory and practice will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to secure leadership roles in global engineering industries.

Entry Requirement 

English Language Requirements:

IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If your first language is not English, you may need to provide evidence of your English language ability. If you do not yet meet our requirements, our English Language Teaching Unit (ELTU) offers a range of courses to help you to improve your English to the necessary standard.

Good second class honors degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.

Fees

UK/EU Student Fee:

  • MSc: £9755
  • MSc with Industry: £11220

If you are a resident outside the UK and the Republic of Ireland you will need to pay a deposit of £2000 to secure your place. This will be subtracted from your total tuition fee.

International Student Fee:

  • MSc: £21515
  • MSc with Industry: £24740
