Course Overview

You're passionate about materials innovation, research, and technological advancement, and ready for a career as a developer, consultant, or other position. 

To help enhance your education, we want you to have as many research opportunities as possible. That's why we're going to give you hands-on experience working with metals and alloys, polymers and composites, ceramics and glass, and more. Your curriculum will vary slightly depending on whether you hold a master's or a bachelor's, and you may study topics such as metallurgical engineering, physical behavior of materials, thermodynamics, and mechanical behavior of materials before you graduate. Among your other requirements are dissertation research, seminars, a defense, and various electives.
