Course Overview

Our online Working with Children, Young People and Families Cert HE is ideal if you’re looking to either, build upon your existing knowledge, or to start a career making a real difference to the lives of vulnerable children, young people, and their families. You’ll develop your knowledge and understanding of the key issues affecting children, young people and their families including child development, contemporary issues in social work, and safeguarding. This course is an ideal platform for further study and can support a wide range of career pathways. Studying online allows you the flexibility to develop your career, fuel your passion and make a difference around your other commitments.

Entry Requirement 

  • Evidence of level 3 study in a related subject e.g. A-Levels, BTEC *
  • GCSEs/Level 2 equivalent qualifications including Maths and English
  • An Enhanced DBS for the Adult and Child Workforce

* Applicants without a Level 3 qualification but with at least six months of relevant experience will be considered on an individual basis and may be invited to an informal interview to discuss their application.

As a distance learner, you’ll also need a suitable computer with an internet connection, together with sufficient IT competence to make effective use of word processing, internet, and email.

The full tuition fee for this course is £4700
