As a member of the Discover Arts program, you will be able to explore the fine arts, humanities and social sciences programs offered through the College of Arts and Sciences.
You will be involved in an aspect of the First-Year Experience program designed specifically for students who are exploring their academic options. A weekly seminar, Introduction to the University, is designed to help you learn more about the University and yourself. Topics such as study skills, goal setting and academic choices are discussed. While this one-hour seminar is required of all students, sections are designed specifically for Discover Arts students. These sections are limited to 25 students, and the professor serves as both your instructor and academic adviser. You will also have the opportunity to work with peer student mentors through this seminar.

Admission Requirements:
Applicants to the University of Dayton Doctor of Physical Therapy program are expected to meet all of the following minimum requirements:
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA across all schools attended.
Minimum 3.0 GPA for all general prerequisite courses.
Completion of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university prior to the start of the DPT program.
Grade of C or better in all prerequisite courses. Grades of C- or lower will not be accepted.
Minimum of 64-semester credits and four or more prerequisite science courses with labs must be completed at the time of application.
Completion of all prerequisite science courses must be within the past ten years. Science coursework that is older than 10 years will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Advanced Placement (AP) and College Level Examination Program (CLEP) credit will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. For consideration, CLEP and AP credit must be indicated on a college transcript with the course number for which credit was received.
