Why study Creative Technologies: Game Design?

The Creative Technologies Program at Illinois State is flexible. You can approach game design and development from a wide variety of perspectives, such as:

Creative Technologies at Illinois State is an interdisciplinary program. Our faculty and students have diverse skillsets and perspectives, with a lot of enthusiasm around games.

Creative Technologies is developing a partnership through Student Affairs with Esports, and we are striving to build a university-wide game-centric culture.

As a game design student, you'll be able to experiment with different fields, discover your passion, and do what you want to do.

We'll also teach you about future directions and experimental technologies for gaming and imagine further innovations for the industry.
