The MS cybersecurity and information assurance degree qualify students to enter leadership careers in network security administration, secure software development, or other related areas. The program is offered and administered by FDU’s Gildart Haase School of Computer Sciences and Engineering.

The cybersecurity master’s online curriculum combines an advanced study of essential industry topics with opportunities for hands-on learning in state-of-the-art virtual labs and co-operative educational experience. When you graduate, you’ll be a trained cybersecurity professional and global citizen who can address information assurance issues and solve data security problems.

OUR MASTER’S IN CYBERSECURITY ONLINE PROGRAM PREPARES YOU TO:

Entry Requirement 

Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of 2.70
  • Submission of an official score report for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE)* General Test taken within the last five years
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • A personal statement

*The GRE may be waived if:

  • The applicant enrolls initially as a non-matriculating student and completes 9 graduate credits in CSIA with a minimum GCPR of 3.00 and no grade below C.
  • The applicant is a graduate of FDU’s computer science, electrical engineering, information technology or closely related programs with an undergraduate CGPR of 3.00.
  • The applicant is a graduate of such programs from other institutions with an undergraduate CGPR of 3.50.
  • The applicant has completed a master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States.

This GRE waiver policy is only applicable to applicants who graduated from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States.
