Course Overview

Objectives :

  1. Introducing the theoretical foundations of sociology and social service in order to be able to know the basics and principles of this science and its methods.
  2. Identifying examples from the fields of sociology and social service, the role of the researcher and the social worker in those areas, and the nature of work in them.
  3. Preparing and qualifying leaders in social work to work in various social and social care institutions and work in the field of designing and implementing social welfare policies and social research
  4. Training students to diagnose and solve social problems through critical thinking.
  5. Developing the spirit of scientific research and mastering the writing of research papers in the field of sociology and social service, in which the methodology of scientific research is clear.

Entry Requirement 

Graduation Requirements:

To obtain a bachelor's degree in the major of sociology and social service, the student must obtain a minimum cumulative grade of 2, i.e. an average of 60%, and that the minimum period of study is three and a half years, and the maximum is eight years, and he must pass (126) credit hours that include 6 Field training hours distributed as follows:
