  • Plan, direct, or coordinate marketing policies and programs.
  • Determine the demand of products and services offered by a firm and its competitors, and identify potential customers.
  • Develop pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the firm’s profits or share of the market while ensuring the firm’s customers are satisfied.
  • Monitor trends that indicate need for new products and services.
  • Identify, develop, or evaluate market strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, cost and markup factors.
  • Formulate, direct, or coordinate marketing activities or policies to promote products or services, working with advertising or promotion managers.
  • Evaluate financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment, and profit-loss projections.
  • Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.

Admissions Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older or have written permission from a parent or legal guardian.
  • Complete in-person interview.
  • Provide a copy of the high school diploma, or high school transcript, or GED, or similar document if the applicant completed secondary education in another country. Documents from non-English speaking countries must be translated into English and evaluated by an approved educational evaluator service attesting that the degree/or credits earned are equivalent to a degree/credits earned at a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the United States.
