Course Overview

The MSc Strategic Sustainability Management programme is an alternative to our MSc Sustainability and Environmental Management. It focuses on strategic management, corporate sustainability and environmental impact; crucial themes for future-focused organisations considering how they operate and thrive in an ever-challenging climate.

The specialist programme provides an advanced understanding of key strategic business disciplines through practical application and leading-edge theory. Focusing on how organisations can operate in a sustainable manner and rise to the corporate sustainability challenge facing organisations today and tomorrow, learning will be enriched with real-life case studies and guest speakers from the industry. You will gain a fundamental understanding of the planning, preparation and execution of business strategy that is sustainable, innovative and entrepreneurial.

The programme will cover pertinent areas such as environmental policy, law and regulation in the UK and internationally. It will look at the adoption of sustainable solutions to solve environmental problems using environmental management tools and techniques and the skills required to drive positive change in organisational culture and environmental performance.
