Course Overview

In Chatham's BA in accounting, you'll develop a strong understanding of accounting and business concepts in order to communicate critical financial information and analyze it for business and enterprise decision-making. The accounting major provides a strong foundation in financial accounting (external focus); managerial accounting (internal focus); accounting information systems and analysis; taxation; and internal controls/auditing. You'll also develop critical thinking skills and analysis, communication skills, research skills, and information systems skills to provide the foundation for continued education and growth throughout your career.
