Course Overview

Disciplines covered are wide-ranging from multimedia, fine art, animation, graphic, and fashion, amongst others as stipulated under the scope of the creative industry.

Prospective students are required to look into current design issues that are relevant to the national initiatives and global trends in art and design. The programme is led by Professor Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Hj. Zainuddin, a prominent design icon supported by qualified industrial-relevant academic staff.

Entry Requirement 

Entry Qualifications & Entrance Assessment: 

  • A Recognised Bachelor's Degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.75; OR
  • A Recognised Bachelor's Degree in Art and Design or a relevant field or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 with three years of working experience in an Art and Design field; OR
  • Equivalent qualification and/or experience which is recognised by the Senate/institution.

English Language Requirements:

  • IELTS minimum Band 5.0
  • TOEFL (Paper-based) 410 – 413
  • TOEFL (Internet-based) minimum 34
  • Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) minimum score 160
  • Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) minimum score 180
  • Pearson Test of English minimum score 36
  • MUET minimum Band 3
  • Applicants with degrees and with proof of English Language as the medium of instruction are exempted from the above requirements upon faculty approval.

Tuition Fees:

First Time Payment: RM 21000 and USD 5676

RM 17700 (minimum 3 semesters) (for 1 Years)
