Course Overview

The undergraduate program in Business Economics, BSc (Hons) Economics for Business, in a modern business environment full of opportunities and challenges, offers graduates the opportunity to understand and delve into the methods, theory, and practical applications of Economics.

The Program covers the full range of Economics and its applications, such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, business economics, finance, monetary policy, international economics, business strategy. Because of this, it is the incubator of financial executives able to successfully fill a multitude of different jobs within the company and to develop into senior and top management positions.

The teaching of the courses through the continuous orientation in the support of the student during his studies is enriched by tutoring exercises, specialized seminars, student assignments, and undertaking specific projects in collaboration with private companies.

Graduates of the program can:  

  • Careers in multinational companies, banks, international organizations, as well as public and private sector organizations as

Entry Requirement 

Academic Requirements:

The English language requirements for undergraduate (Bachelor) programmes is a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or 6, or equivalent, depending on the programme and year or level of entry. The specific requirements for your chosen programme of study, including individual component scores, are outlined on the programme page.

Admission Requirements:

The program is aimed at graduates of secondary education, who wish to develop professionally in the field of Finance.

  • Letters of Recommendation from Lyceum teachers
  • ID Card
  • Identity photos
  • Degree/certificate of English language proficiency (only where required)
  • Other qualifications (if any)
  • Application for Registration of the Metropolitan College
  • The evaluation of the above-supporting documents is completed by the personal interview selection of the candidates.
