Course Overview

If you choose to go into adult nursing, you’ll help care for people over 18.

Modules

In this course, you'll be taught and supported by leading academics and nurses. You’ll apply your learning in a variety of clinical and health care settings, including placements in general medical and surgical wards, critical care areas such as A&E departments or intensive care units in leading NHS Trusts and hospitals across London. You may also spend this time in community placements or services for the care of elderly people.

Entry Requirement 

Academic Requirements:

  • A Level BBC/A*A* and 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at grade 4 or above (previously A*-C) or equivalent; or;
  • BTEC Extended Diploma DMM and 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at grade 4 or above (previously A*-C) or equivalent; or;
  • Access to HE Diploma in Nursing or similar with 15 Distinctions and 30 Merits at Level 3 and 15 Credits at Level 2; and GCSEs Maths and English grade 4 or above (previously A*-C) or equivalent; or;
  • Equivalent level 3 qualifications worth 112 UCAS points; and 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at grade 4 or above (previously A*-C) or equivalent.
