This course allows you to study economics at an in-depth postgraduate level. You will study a sequence of economics modules that are widely recognized as standard graduate training. It will provide you with the foundations for either a career as an economist or to prepare for Ph.D. study.

Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
Either 2:1 degree in economics (or equivalent) from a recognized university.
Or 2:2 degree in economics (or equivalent) and a minimum of 2:1 in each final year module in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics, or equivalent from a recognized university.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If your first language is not English, you may need to provide evidence of your English language ability. If you do not yet meet our requirements, our English Language Teaching Unit (ELTU) offers a range of courses to help you to improve your English to the necessary standard.
