Course Overview

The programme consists of didactic lectures, compulsory and elective clinical clerkship, and a research dissertation that can be completed in 1 year (full time) or 2 years (part-time). At all stages, candidates are encouraged to adopt a self-directed learning approach to facilitate the culture of lifelong learning.

CAREERS PROSPECTS

Professional careers in a variety of practice settings including hospitals, primary care health centers, retail pharmacies, research institutes, managed care systems in government and private health agencies.

Entry Requirement 

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (Level 6, MQF) or other related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or its equivalent recognized by University Senate; OR
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (Level 6, MQF) or other related fields with CGPA less than 2.50 and with at least 5 years continuous relevant working experience; 
  • Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government,
  • English Proficiency for Foreign Students:
  • Minimum TOEFL score of 550 (PBT) or 80 (IBT) • Or minimum IELTS score of 6.0
