What you'll study?

LLM International Trade and Commercial Law offer a significant opportunity to develop a high-level appreciation of one of the fastest-growing areas of law. Trade between nations is of huge importance to national and regional economies as well as having huge global significance.

The modules offered in this course offer the opportunity to develop expertise in each of the key areas impacting international trade law. The course explores diverse areas of the subject including international sales and carriage of goods, insurance, international finance, international dispute resolution, and World Trade Organisation (WTO) Law. The latter is of particular importance since India and China joined the WTO.

Entry Requirement 

Academic Requirements:

  • A good law degree, 2.2 or above.
  • Applicants whose first degree is not Law will be required to provide evidence of commitment to the LLM subject that they wish to study.
  • Applicants from other disciplines will be welcomed in appropriate circumstances, particularly if they have experience in the area, even if not as lawyers.
