Course Overview

You'll acquire the skills needed to work with individuals, groups, and communities. Key components of this degree include cultural awareness and an understanding of diverse cultural groups, a responsible attitude, commitment to serve others and effective communication skills. You'll gain occupational experience through Internship 1 and Internship 2 or will engage in the community through Service Learning. Note: this program does not lead directly to State licensure to practice counseling.
