Course Overview

Today's entrepreneur faces a highly competitive and constantly changing marketplace driven by continuous innovation in technology, business models, execution, and strategy. In order to succeed, the new entrepreneur must develop an understanding of these dynamics and how this interplay creates value for a new venture. 

The advanced certificate in technology entrepreneurship features three required courses plus one elective. In its entirety, the curriculum provides the skills and knowledge an entrepreneur needs to successfully navigate the process of starting a new venture and managing technological innovation.

Entry Requirement 

Admission Requirements:

  • Hold a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university or college.
  • Submit official transcripts (in English) of all previously completed undergraduate and graduate coursework.
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent).
  • Submit a personal statement and writing sample.
  • Submit a current resume or curriculum vitae.
  • Submit two letters of recommendation from academic or professional sources.
  • International applicants whose native language is not English must submit scores from the TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE. A minimum TOEFL score of 88 (internet-based) is required. A minimum IELTS score of 6.5 is required. The English language test score requirement is waived for native speakers of English or for those submitting transcripts from degrees earned at American institutions.

  • TOEFL: 88
  • IELTS: 6.5    
  • PTE Academic: 61

English Language Requirements:

An official score report for the TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE Academic exam is required of all international applicants whose native language is not English. Please view the overall minimum score requirement for your intended program in the table below. In addition, each program requires balanced sub-scores when determining an applicant’s need for additional English language courses.
