Course Overview

Brunel University London Bachelor of Laws (Honours) is a qualifying law degree that allows you to progress directly to the vocational stage of training to become a solicitor or barrister. 1. Develop in students a fundamental knowledge and understanding of the main institutions of the English legal system, and provide a sound basis for exploration of theoretical and practical approaches to basic legal problems. 2. Develop in students an appreciation and desire to learn based on competent intellectual and practical skills that build to a set of transferable skills that will support them in all aspects of their onward academic studies/careers and support their decision making in an informed manner. 3. Ensure that students have attained the prescribed level of inter-disciplinary language competence.

Foundation Studies: Law
  • IELTS 6.0 (with no band below 5.5)
  • Pearson 51 (Listening 51, Reading 51, Speaking 51, Writing 51)
  • IGCSE English Language C
  • IB Standard Level 5 or HL 4
