Course Overview

If you don't have the right grades to enroll directly in our BSc (Hons) Computer Security degree, this BCS-accredited course offers an alternative route with an additional foundation year. This extra introductory year will give you the grounding you need to begin the degree-level study.

The BSc (Hons) Computer Security degree has a practical emphasis to prepare you for a career in computer security. You’ll understand how computer systems are designed and secured, and learn how to protect them against all kinds of attacks.

Your studies will cover effective computer systems management and how to complete an effective IT health check. You will also have the opportunity to achieve CompTIA Security+ certification as part of your studies.
