Course Overview

Investment in the FinTech sector is rapidly increasing, and the FinTech industry, especially start-ups, faces technological, legal, and regulatory challenges and unexpected events. Therefore, FinTech professionals are required to have analytical and critical thinking skills which help them find creative solutions to such problems.

This new MSc degree in FinTech will equip you with the tech skills, finance skills, and soft skills you'll need to build a career in the rapidly expanding financial technology field. As a graduate, you will have the knowledge and understanding required to respond to the evolving requirements of employers within a wide range of industries related to financial technology.

The programme will also give you the option of a year-long industry placement/internship, providing invaluable real-world experience and helping you to build industry contacts.

Entry Requirement 

Academic Requirements:

A 2:2 (or above) UK Honours degree, or an equivalent internationally recognised qualification, in any subject. Work experience is not required.

Applicants with non-degree qualifications will be considered where they have relevant work experience (minimum 3 years full-time), and will be assessed on an interview basis.

English Language Requirements: 

IETLS: 6.5 overall, with no sub-test less than 5.5.

If you do not meet the IELTS requirement, you can take a University of Bradford pre-sessional English course.
