During the year-long course you will:

This course is ideal:

  • If you want to study Law at Oxford Brookes but need to supplement your A-Levels grades
  • If you wish to return to study after a long break.

By choosing our Foundation in Law, you’ll be joining a supportive and close-knit community. Our department is led by academics who are experts in their fields. You’ll receive the support and guidance needed to build university-level skills. And at the end of the course, you’ll emerge equipped to confidently progress to the LLB in Law at Oxford Brookes.

Upon successful completion of the Foundation in Law course, you will be guaranteed a place on our LLB in Law course.

Entry Requirement 

Academic Requirement:

5.5 overall with 5.5 in all skills

English Language Requirements:

If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

The entry requirement for your course will be expressed as an IELTS level and refers to the IELTS Academic version of this test. We are now also accepting the IELTS Indicator test.

Entry levels are from IELTS 4.5 overall with 4.0 in all skills

(UK) Part-time tuition fee: £1155 per single module

International / EU full time tuition fee: £14300
