The Health Promotion Management Program is for individuals dedicated to assuming leadership positions within the health promotion industry.

Develop managerial skills with scientific and clinical knowledge through coursework in a variety of areas, including: exercise physiology, human biochemistry, behavioral psychology, and nutrition. Focus your elective coursework in one of the following areas of emphasis:

Corporate Health:

  • Health Communication
  • Health Policy
  • Global Health
  • Nutrition Education

Entry Requirement 

Admission to the Program:
The program is open to students with varied undergraduate backgrounds and has few science-related academic prerequisites. The academic record and experience of each applicant will be thoroughly reviewed by the program director. The minimum university requirements for admission to graduate study are a bachelor's degree earned at an accredited college or university and a 3.00 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.00 scale) for the last 60 credit hours of undergraduate study. International applicants who are fluent in written and spoken English are encouraged to apply. To be considered for admission, international applicants must meet university requirements for writing and speaking English. Students may apply for prior learning experience once admitted to the program.

  • 30 credit hours of graduate work
  • Capstone Experience: HLTH-685 or HLTH-691 or HLTH-797
