Course Overview

The Pre-Masters Programme in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering is structured to provide students with no prior knowledge of programming or computing systems with a modern introduction to the major technologies involved in computing and electronic engineering, in preparation to study a postgraduate degree. Additionally, this programme will focus on enhancing your linguistic skills with a module dedicated to academic English language tuition. This will ensure your writing and speaking skills are at an appropriate level to study a postgraduate degree in English.

Entry Requirement 

Academic: Students will need to have successfully completed an appropriate first qualification in their resident country.

English language:

Academic qualification Grade
 Academic IELTS for UKVI*  5.5 overall (minimum 5.5 in all components)

*If you do not need a Student visa, or are exempted in another way, we can accept equivalent proof of English. The English language entry requirements stated are for information regarding entry to the course. If you require a UK visa to study, depending on the type of visa you need, the English language requirements and valid English tests to satisfy the UK visa criteria may differ.
